Post Graduation Smooch

Zach and I had been talking about marriage and our future off and on ever since he decided to go to college in a different city, thus making our relationship mostly long distance. The very first time I remember him asking me to marry him was during lunch break in high school in the auditorium. I don't think we could have been going out more than seven or eight months when he asked. This was the first of many proposals! He even offered me a soccer ring he won at the arcade one evening and told me that was my engagement ring.

We had decided to make our engagement official the weekend he graduated from college. On the day of his graduation from UTA after his family's reception we were driving back to the hotel and he asked me to be his wife. Now he had asked me quite a few times in the past, and each time I would tease him "Is it for real this time?" and he'd laugh and say "no not yet". This was the first time he had the ring with him when he asked, and answered "yes it's for real this time!" I was both overjoyed and astounded at the same time, even though I knew it was comming.

Our engagment made his graduation weekend extra special for us and all his family that came to celebrate with him.

Zach and I are bestfriends, confidants and still as in love and crazy about eachother as we were in the beginning of our relationship. These eight years together weren't always easy with our distance as we attended different colleges, but it was worth every minute. We wouldn't change a thing. We're both really excited to finally be married and begin our life together.
